Brain Builders Academy

Brain Builders Academy is Chicago’s premier immersive STEAM school, built on a proprietary neuroscience-based curriculum that aligns with the brain’s critical developmental windows. Located in the West Loop, the academy serves children ages 3-9 in early elementary programs from PreK through 6th grade, with plans to expand into upper elementary in the coming years.

The school features a strong emphasis on STEAM education encompassing science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Students consistently perform an average of two grade levels ahead of their peers, with the Kindergarten class ranking in the top 1% globally on the NWEA MAP Math and Reading tests, demonstrating the effectiveness of the accelerated and individualized approach.

Classes are intentionally small with just five students per teacher, allowing for one-on-one instruction in math, reading, and piano. This personalized environment fosters confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. The academy operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm and accepts new students year-round, with the youngest learners beginning at 36 months.

In addition to the school year program, the academy provides camps, STEAM events, and a free play program for babies and toddlers. The facility features specialized learning spaces designed to support their brain-based learning approach and comprehensive STEAM curriculum.
