Apple Barn Orchard & Winery

Apple Barn Orchard & Winery is a family-owned and operated farm with a rich history dating back to 1848. This sixth-generation family farm offers a complete farm experience combining u-pick fruit, a country store and bakery, and an on-site winery. The orchard provides seasonal picking of strawberries, apples, and pumpkins, allowing visitors to harvest fresh fruit at peak ripeness.

The winery produces all wines on-site, with everything made, bottled, corked, capped, and labeled at the farm. Estate wines feature fruit grown on the property, including Apple Barn Blush made with homegrown apples, pears, and strawberries, and Mulberry wine made with handpicked neighboring mulberries. Wine tasting is available for visitors to sample the various offerings.

The country store is filled with local products including Farmer’s Daughter Jams & Jellies, local honey, and handmade home decor items. During strawberry season, the store offers freshly made strawberry donuts and other bakery items. The farm hosts an annual Apple Fest which has become a cherished family tradition for many visitors.

Throughout the year, the farm offers different seasonal experiences. Asparagus season begins in May, followed by strawberry picking, then apple picking and pumpkin selection in the fall. Live bands perform during events, creating a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. Due to government food safety regulations, pets are not allowed on the property.
