Jonamac Orchard is a three-generational family-owned apple orchard, pumpkin patch, and working farm that has been a beloved destination for apple and pumpkin enthusiasts since 1984. The orchard is dedicated to providing memorable experiences for families in the Chicagoland suburbs and beyond, with new features added annually to enhance the visitor experience.
The orchard offers extensive picking opportunities with apples, pumpkins, and flower fields available throughout the season. The Cider House features apple wines, hard ciders, and collaborative beers in a relaxing tasting room with Cider Garden Patios. Visitors can purchase growlers, flights, and bottles of their craft beverages.
The farm provides over 36 different activities and attractions including an animal barn, apple cannons, apple train, bubble barn, camel rides, corn crib play barn, corn maze, duck races, grain cart basketball, jumping pillow, obstacle course, paintball shooters, pony rides, racer slides, straw bale pile, tiny town, trike track, and wagon rides. The 10-acre corn maze is a highlight, with new designs created each year.
The Store and Bakery offers farm-made products including apple cider donuts, pies, caramel apples, and merchandise. The Kettle Barn provides fresh kettle corn and snacks. Food trucks are available during festival times. The farm also offers campfire sites that can be reserved for gatherings.
Special events include live music and entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays, Cider House After Hours events with food trucks and flashlight corn maze, and Haunt Nights in October. The orchard is located at 19412 Shabbona Road in Malta, Illinois, and can be reached at (815) 825-2158.
