Stade’s Farm and Market

Stade’s Farm and Market is a premier agritourism destination located in scenic McHenry County, offering farm-fresh produce and memorable family experiences. The farm produces 2,200 acres of crops including corn, soybeans, and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that are sold directly to consumers through their farm market.

Visitors can enjoy u-pick experiences for strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, green beans, peppers, onions, potatoes, leafy spring greens, and pumpkins. The farm features a beautiful apple orchard with many favorite varieties and about 30 acres of pick-your-own pumpkins in the fall.

The market offers homegrown fruits and vegetables, honey, a delicious bakery featuring their famous Apple Cider Donuts, specialty and gourmet foods, unique gift items, Townsend Meats & Eggs, and much more. Stade’s is home to a large entertainment area called the Shades of Autumn Fall Festival, featuring 40+ farm-related attractions including a petting zoo, corn maze, giant slides, hayrides, concerts, Sunday outdoor worship services, and numerous family-oriented activities. The farm maintains high standards with farm-fresh, non-GMO produce and provides agricultural education alongside fine family entertainment at reasonable prices.
