Skyline Children’s Theater – Winnetka

Skyline Children’s Theater is an award-winning children’s theater company serving Chicago and surrounding suburbs, providing young actors with the magic of being in a Broadway show. The company has established its presence across 20+ locations and is one of the largest and longest-running children’s theater programs in the vibrant Chicagoland area, bringing the enchantment of Broadway to young performers.

The theater offers tailored classes for every age group from preschool through eighth grade. Their Broadway Tots program is designed for pre-K actors ages 3-5, providing a play-based, high-energy introduction to musical theater through songs, dances, and theater games. Broadway Juniors serves kindergarten through 2nd grade actors, helping them enhance reading skills while learning their own named roles. The Stars program is for ages 7-12, and Performers program serves ages 6-14.

Experienced professional teaching artists guide each cast to create fully-staged musicals. Every child receives a named role and script, learning fundamental musical theater skills including singing, dancing, acting, and performing. The company partners with professional theaters, dance studios, park districts, schools, and community centers throughout Chicago’s North Side, North Shore, Lake County, and Northwest suburbs.
