Welcome to All Snacks No Naps fellow Snackers. We hope you discover new places and new activities for your kiddos (and maybe even something for yourself). Grab a snack and peruse through everything that Chicago-land has to offer. And if you see a place missing, feel free to create an account and add the listing or just send us some feedback with a link and we can handle the addition.
Today, we’re opening access to the site as a preview. It’s not complete, but the edges are starting to be formed and you can get an idea of the complete picture. Right now, we have:
- > 600 places
- Search by keyword, category, tag, location, or age
- Favorite, save, compare, and share places with friends
- Descriptions of all places outlining their awesomeness
- Attributes of each place including phone, address, hours of operation, etc.
- Premium listing feature for businesses
- Social login via Google
In the not too distant future, we’re working on:
- Expansion to all known places in Chicago-land
- Addition of activities (summer camps, day off camps, and special events)
- Expansion of search and compare features to activities
- Pricing, early drop-off, late pick-up, lunch option, and other activity attributes
- SEO & marketing
- Newsletter / blog updates
- Advertising
We’ve learned a lot to get to this point and continue to learn more every day. This is a bit of a passion project that we hope helps all of the parents and care-givers in the Chicago-land area with their childcare needs.
