Code Ninjas – Peoria

Code Ninjas – Peoria is a kids coding education center located at 7800 N Sommer St, Peoria, IL 61615 in Peoria, Illinois, part of the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise. The center’s flagship program, CREATE, is designed for children ages 7 to 14 and uses a martial arts-inspired belt progression system where young coders advance from White Belt to Black Belt as they master increasingly complex coding concepts. Beginning students work with block-based visual coding through Microsoft MakeCode, progressing to JavaScript in intermediate belts, and ultimately developing original video games using Unity, the same platform used by professional game developers. For younger children ages 5 to 7, Code Ninjas JR offers an entirely visual curriculum that requires no reading skills, introducing foundational coding concepts through interactive activities, creativity exercises, and hands-on problem-solving using kid-friendly programming platforms like Scratch and Blockly. The JR program also includes Ninja Circuits kits that let children work with real electrical circuits, providing a tactile introduction to the connection between software and hardware.

Code Ninjas also offers themed Camps during summer and school breaks, where kids engage in week-long sessions focused on popular topics like Roblox game development, Minecraft modding, YouTube content creation, robotics, and more. Half-day camp sessions run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with families able to register for both for a full-day experience. Camp tuition is approximately $250 per half-day week, with discounted pricing of $225 when registering for full days. Multi-week Academy modules provide deeper dives into topics like Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, building future-ready skills through interactive challenges.
