Bear Paddle Swim School in Kildeer, Illinois, is a year-round swim facility located in The Quentin Collection shopping center on N. Rand Road. The Kildeer facility features Bear Paddle’s warm 90-degree saltwater pool with a comprehensive water treatment system that includes chlorinated water, ultraviolet light filtration, and Diatomaceous Earth media filters. Pool water chemistry is tested before, during, and after every 30-minute session to ensure compliance with CDC guidelines. The school maintains strict capacity limits of fewer than 50 people inside the facility at any time, and the dedicated cleaning team disinfects all surfaces including door handles, floors, tables, toilets, changing stations, and shower stalls after each swim class.

Swimming instruction at the Kildeer location uses Bear Paddle’s story-based learning system, which is structured to make swim lessons fun and engaging for children while eliminating boredom. Instructors conduct initial skill assessments to determine each child’s current level and structure their progression accordingly. The school offers group lessons, semi-private buddy classes, private one-on-one sessions, special needs accommodations, and family lessons.
