Profile
Kids Empire – Palatine is a vibrant indoor playground and family entertainment center located at 619 E. Dundee Road in Palatine, Illinois. Part of a nationwide chain of over 100 parks founded by Haim Ezbas, this location offers an expansive, climate-controlled facility designed for children of all ages to climb, slide, spin, dance, and explore in a safe and clean environment. The park features a multi-level climbing structure with a variety of obstacles, tunnels, and slides that encourage active play and imaginative exploration for children approximately ages one through seventeen. Kids Empire operates seven days a week including holidays, rain or shine, making it a reliable destination for family fun any day of the year.
The facility is divided into distinct zones tailored to different age groups and play styles. The main play structure is a towering, multi-story maze filled with interactive elements, ball pits, obstacle courses, and slides of varying heights and speeds, including thrilling multi-story slides that are a favorite among older children. For the youngest visitors, there is a dedicated tot area specifically designed for infants and toddlers in diapers, featuring smaller climbing structures, gentle slides, a ball pit, and soft play elements that allow little ones to explore safely while parents stay close by. A unique highlight of the Kids Empire experience is the dance party room, complete with glow-in-the-dark decorations, a disco ball, and energetic music that creates an exciting atmosphere for kids to let loose and dance. The park may also feature surprise parades during operating hours with loud music and dim lighting, so parents of noise-sensitive children are encouraged to ask staff in advance.
In addition to the extensive play areas, Kids Empire – Palatine features a creative building zone with oversized construction bricks where children can build castles, mazes, towers, and other structures, fostering creativity and collaborative teamwork. The park also offers ride-on toys, bumper cars, and other interactive play elements scattered throughout the facility to keep children engaged and entertained for hours. A snack bar is available on-site, offering a selection of beverages, snacks, and a kids lunchbox option that includes a sandwich, chips, cheese or pouch, and a drink for approximately $5.90. Outside food and drinks are not permitted with general admission, though birthday party packages include food options. Free lockers are available for storing shoes, bags, and personal belongings using a custom code.
Kids Empire – Palatine is a popular destination for birthday parties, offering all-inclusive party packages that range from approximately $29.90 to $49.90 per child depending on the package selected. Party packages include a dedicated party host, reserved seating for two and a half to three hours, food and drinks, cake, printable and email invitations, and all-day play access for party guests. The facility can also accommodate field trips and group outings for schools, daycares, and organizations with groups of ten or more children, with special group pricing and optional snack boxes available upon request. All birthday party and group packages require waivers signed by parents or guardians prior to entry.

Non-grip socks are mandatory for all visitors, both children and adults, for sanitary and safety purposes, and Kids Empire branded socks are available for purchase at $3 at the front desk. Waivers must be signed online or at the facility by a parent or guardian before any child can enter the play area. Parents are encouraged to participate in their children’s play, and the adult-friendly climbing structures are designed to accommodate grown-ups joining in the fun alongside their kids. The facility also features a small retail section offering souvenirs and toys for purchase. Restrooms are equipped with changing tables and stools for children to reach the sink, and water fountains are available for refilling bottles throughout the visit.
