Lookingglass Theatre Education

Lookingglass Theatre Company’s education programs are designed to fire the imagination and celebrate the human capacity for creativity and collaboration. Based in Chicago’s landmark Water Tower Water Works, our ensemble-based approach to theatre education encourages teamwork, confidence, and inventive visual storytelling. We offer a wide range of programs for young people ages 6-18, including our rigorous pre-professional Young Ensemble and our highly sought-after summer camps.

Our Summerglass Camps allow students to explore playmaking through shadow puppets, scavenger hunts, and circus arts, directly learning from the professional artists who create our world-class productions. We redefine the limits of theatrical experience, making theatre exhilarating and accessible to all. Whether your child is attending their first drama game or auditioning for our Young Ensemble, they will leave our programs changed, charged, and empowered.
