Kids Art & Café

Kids Art & Café is a unique coffee shop and indoor playground located in Schaumburg, offering families a welcoming space where children can play freely while parents relax and enjoy quality food and beverages. The facility is particularly popular with families of children ages 6 and under, providing a safe, clean environment for active play and creative activities.

The play area features multiple engaging sections designed for different interests and age groups. Train enthusiasts can enjoy the dedicated train table, while the imagination section includes an adorable large dollhouse, play kitchen, laundry station, and other pretend play elements. Building lovers have access to tables with Legos and other building blocks. For the youngest visitors, a separate padded area provides age-appropriate toys for crawlers in a safe, enclosed space.

Beyond open play, Kids Art & Café offers art classes for children, providing opportunities for creative expression and skill development. The facility is also available for birthday party rentals, where children can enjoy exclusive access to all the toys and play equipment with support from the friendly, accommodating staff.

The café section serves real Italian coffee, homemade Belgian waffles, grilled paninis, pierogi, and other freshly prepared foods. Parents appreciate that all menu items are made from scratch using quality ingredients, with no diet drinks containing artificial sweeteners. The homemade ice cream, made with only fresh fruit, milk, whipped cream, egg yolks, and sugar, is a particular favorite. Free Wi-Fi is available for parents who want to work while supervising their children.

Open play is available seven days a week, with hours Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Thursday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM. For every holiday and special event, Kids Art & Café and its staff prepare themed activities and decorations, from pumpkin carving to pictures with Santa Claus and Valentine’s Day specials. The café partners with a decoration company to offer clients discounted personalized party decorations including balloon arches and customized place settings.

Safety and cleanliness are priorities, with the facility maintaining high standards. All children and adults are required to wear socks. The enclosed gated play area allows parents to supervise while also having space to relax, work on laptops, or enjoy the café’s offerings. The relaxing music and comfortable atmosphere create an environment where both children and parents can enjoy their time.
