A&A Ballet Center for Dance

A&A Ballet Center for Dance is an award-winning, state-of-the-art ballet school located in Chicago’s historic South Loop at 731 S. Plymouth Court. Founded in 2016 by internationally acclaimed artists Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, former Founding Artistic Directors of the Joffrey Academy and Joffrey Studio Company, the center is devoted to training dancers in strong, versatile technique while developing personality, independence, and artistry.

The school offers comprehensive ballet training for dancers ages 3 to adult across multiple programs: Children’s Program for ages 3-10, Pre-Professional Program for ages 10+, Conservatory Program for advanced students, Contemporary Program, Open Dance Program for ages 10+ and adults, Youth Company, and a Professional Company for dancers ages 18-24. Private instruction is available from the founders. The school also operates intensive programs including Summer Intensive, Winter Intensive, and Back to School Intensive, with housing options available for out-of-town students.

In just 10 years, A&A Ballet has received more than 11 outstanding program awards including multiple YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) and UBC (Universal Ballet Competition) Outstanding School Awards. Students have secured over 250 full scholarships and positions with prestigious companies worldwide including American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Boston Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, and many others.

The center produces professional performances including their signature Art Deco Nutcracker, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025, along with full-length productions of Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Coppelia, and other classical and contemporary works performed at venues such as the Athenaeum Theatre. Open auditions are held for community members to participate in productions. The school also offers a Healthy Dancer Program and Homeschool Support Program to accommodate diverse student needs.
