Dance Images

Dance Images is a well-established dance studio celebrating over 30 years of dance instruction in the Tinley Park area. As a learning institution made fun, Dance Images provides comprehensive dance education for students from 18 months through high school and beyond, offering programs whether dance is a fun hobby, students are just beginning, or taking dance in a serious direction.

The studio offers three main program levels to serve students of different ages and abilities. First Steps Classes are perfect for dancers aged 18 months to 3 years old, providing a memorable first dance experience in a nurturing environment. The Recreational Program serves dancers in 1st-3rd grade, offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Poms, and Hip Hop in an engaging and age-appropriate format. The Intensive Program is designed for dancers in 4th grade and above, providing advanced training in different genres of dance from various experienced staff members.

Dance Images is home to the e.D.I.t. Competition Team, an award-winning competition team directed by specialized staff and comprised of 31 Intensive Dancers who compete at regional competitions including eDIt Tribute Competition, eDIt AMP Competition, and eDIt Bloom Competition throughout the season.

The studio hosts numerous special events throughout the year including Parents’ Night Out on designated evenings, Birthday Parties for children who want to celebrate with dance and friends, Field Trips, and various annual events. Participants in special events do not need to be registered students at Dance Images. Summer Camps are available for ages 3-12 with themed camps and activities designed to keep children engaged and having fun throughout the summer season.

Dance Images provides a comprehensive calendar of events including Walk-In Registration, Parent Viewing sessions, costume fee collection, holiday celebrations, spring break, the End of Year Production in June, and Dance Fest. The studio is located at 18475 Thompson Court in Tinley Park and offers online registration through their parent portal powered by Jackrabbit. A Spirit Wear Store is available for families to purchase Dance Images branded apparel. The studio maintains an active presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, keeping families updated on events, schedules, and celebrating student achievements.
