The Beverly Arts Center is a vibrant multifaceted cultural organization located in Chicago’s historic Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood. This 40,000 square foot facility houses a 400-seat theatre, art gallery, exhibition spaces, music and dance studios, art classrooms, and event rental spaces including a courtyard and light-filled atrium.
The Center offers comprehensive programming in dance, visual arts, music, film, and theater for all ages. Their School of Fine Arts provides year-round classes in these disciplines across four main 10-week sessions annually. The summer programming features their acclaimed Summer Arts Camp, which blends artistic exploration with traditional camp activities for children ages 5-15 through multiple themed sessions and a culminating musical theater production.
Founded in 1967, the Center serves the Chicago metro area with high-quality arts education, rotating exhibitions of contemporary art, and one of the most dynamic performing arts programs in the city. The facility includes the Baffes Theatre for performances, multiple gallery spaces for rotating monthly exhibitions, and extensive community outreach programs serving students from preschool through senior citizens. The Center provides scholarship opportunities and customizable programming to meet diverse community needs.
