Eyas Landing – Avondale

Eyas Landing is a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic serving children, adolescents, and families throughout Chicago and the Chicagoland area since 2007. The organization provides comprehensive therapeutic services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ABA therapy, counseling, and neuropsychological services through clinic-based, in-home, school, and telehealth settings.

The therapeutic summer camp program has operated for 13 years, specifically designed for children ages 4-11 with developmental needs. The camp curriculum is developed by a multidisciplinary team of pediatric therapy experts and incorporates evidence-based interventions from behavior therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work. A 4-week commitment is required for camp enrollment.

Camp programming focuses on social skills development using We Thinkers! Curriculum (ages 4-6) and Superflex Curriculum (ages 7-10), sensory exploration activities, bike riding skills with various adaptive equipment, sports instruction with modifications and supports (soccer, T-ball, kickball, basketball), and handwriting development through multi-sensory approaches.

Camp hours offer flexibility with 8am or 10am start times depending on age group, with sessions ranging from 4 to 8 hours based on therapeutic recommendations and provider availability. The West Loop location provides a safe, structured environment where children receive individualized support to achieve their therapeutic goals while building friendships and having fun.

In addition to summer camp, Eyas Landing offers Individual Intensive Therapy Burst Programs with one-week and two-week commitment options throughout the summer. These programs provide customized therapy schedules targeting specific skills like handwriting, bike riding, sports techniques, articulation, and fluency. The family-centered, evidence-based approach supports meaningful progress across home, school, and community environments.
