Profile
Infinity Arts Academy Chicago (IAA) is committed to providing life-changing education through the performing arts, offering comprehensive training and production opportunities in theater, film, dance, acting, and voice. The academy strives to offer all students the technique, opportunities, and mindset required to reach their full potential in the arts and in life.
The academy operates with core values of integrity, teamwork, respect, passion, encouragement, and opportunity, creating an environment where each student is truly transformed. Programs are led by a dedicated staff of performing arts professionals who awaken students’ passion, creativity, and drive while maintaining an encouraging, fun, positive, and challenging learning environment.
The Conservatory and Repertory programs focus on theater with fully licensed productions for ages 7 through high school, thoughtful and engaging curriculum taught by industry professionals with multiple degrees and years of experience. Productions are performed on a real stage with professional costume, lighting, and set designers, emphasizing the importance of the ensemble rather than individual stars.
IAA Films is a comprehensive film education and production program where students learn every aspect of filmmaking across all departments. The academy produces 7+ films per year with an average running time of over 20 minutes. Students receive university-equivalent education in writing, editing, and film production, learning history, theory, and terminology. Films have achieved Official Selections and Nominations in international film festivals and have IMDb listings. Programs include film classes, editing workshops, film camps, intensives, challenges, and festival submissions.
Individual classes are offered in acting, voice, and dance across multiple styles and skill levels. The academy provides camps during school breaks and intensive programs for deeper immersion in specific arts disciplines. The facility creates a safe space for students to grow, take risks, communicate their questions and fears, and develop both artistic skills and life skills necessary for success in any endeavor they choose.
