Profile
Lil’ Kickers, operating as LK Soccer in Illinois, provides developmental soccer programs for children ages 18 months through 12 years old, with a focus on building soccer skills while fostering confidence, teamwork, and physical development. The program has served more than a million children nationwide and operates multiple locations throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, offering both indoor and outdoor facilities depending on the season and location.
The core Lil’ Kickers program offers weekly 50-minute classes with low child-to-coach ratios and age-appropriate curriculum designed specifically for young children. The carefully curated classes make learning soccer fun and engaging while teaching fundamental skills in a supportive environment. Skills Institute classes are available for ages 5-12, where soccer takes center stage with more advanced technical and tactical instruction. These classes maintain an 8:1 player-to-coach ratio and include 30 minutes of age-appropriate instruction followed by 20 minutes of small-sided scrimmaging, all rooted in child development theory.
LK Soccer offers multiple program types beyond regular classes. Lil’ Kickers Camps provide 3 hours of high-energy fun with age-appropriate activities for 4-10 year olds, featuring inflatable Fun Zone playgrounds at select locations (Lake Street, Bradley Place, Morton Grove, Roselle, and Vernon Hills). Birthday party packages are available at Roscoe Village, West Loop, Roselle/Schaumburg, Morton Grove, and Vernon Hills locations, featuring coaches who keep kids engaged with fun Lil’ Kickers games, exclusive field time and party areas, dedicated host staff for setup and cleanup, and VIP parking. The program operates at numerous locations including indoor year-round facilities in Roscoe Village, Morton Grove, Vernon Hills, West Dundee, Roselle/Schaumburg, McCook/La Grange, and Oak Park, plus outdoor seasonal locations in Wicker Park/Bucktown, Edgewater, and Northbrook.
