Lycee World Camp

Lycee World Camp offers international summer camp experiences focused on language immersion in the heart of Chicago. Located on the campus of the Lycee Francais de Chicago, this unique program provides children with opportunities to learn languages through full immersion while engaging in fun camp activities.

The camp offers language immersion day camps in five languages: Arabic, French, German, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese. Programs are available for ages 3-18, welcoming speakers of all levels of fluency including complete beginners. The camp runs from June through August and draws children from over 100 local and international schools, creating a diverse multicultural environment.

For ages 3-11, the camp provides full language immersion experiences where children learn through play, activities, and interaction entirely in their chosen language. For ages 11-14, the program combines morning language acquisition courses with afternoon World Camp Adventures, offering instruction in French, German, Mandarin, and Spanish. High school students ages 15-17 can participate in specialized French camps.

The campus features excellent facilities including outdoor play areas, athletic fields, and age-appropriate indoor spaces. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, field trips throughout Chicago, music, games, and cultural exploration. Each week focuses on themed activities that enhance language learning through engaging experiences.

Scholarships are available for Chicago Public School students for all summer programs in all languages. The camp emphasizes creating an international experience that builds language skills, cultural awareness, and lasting friendships in a fun and supportive environment.
