MADE Chicago is a creative studio in Bucktown offering hands-on pottery and woodworking classes, workshops, and camps for children and adults. The studio provides a welcoming space for students to explore ceramics and woodworking in a supportive, creative environment. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels, with experienced instructors guiding students through techniques in both disciplines.
For children, MADE offers specialized kids’ pottery classes designed to teach fundamental skills while fostering creativity and self-expression. Summer camp programs include half-day and full-day options for different age groups. The MADE in Clay Camp serves ages 5-8 with pottery projects, while the Wheelthrowing Camp for ages 9-13 focuses on wheel techniques. Woodworking Camp for ages 9-13 teaches essential woodworking skills and tool safety. One-day School’s Out camps provide creative activities during school breaks.
Adult programs include ongoing ceramics classes, woodworking classes, and various workshops. MADE at Night workshops offer evening pottery sessions, while MADE Together family workshops welcome participants ages 5 and up to create together. The studio also hosts custom workshops for private groups and events. Workshop topics vary seasonally and include specific project-based sessions. Gift cards are available for purchase. The bright, well-equipped studio at 1980 N Milwaukee Avenue features dedicated spaces for both pottery and woodworking with all necessary tools and materials provided.
