Profile
Menomonee Club for Boys and Girls is a Chicago institution providing recreational, educational, and character-building programs for youth since its founding. Operating at two locations in Chicago’s Old Town and Lincoln Park neighborhoods – the Drucker Center and the Clubhouse – the organization offers a wide variety of activities designed to engage children and teens in meaningful experiences.
The club provides extensive programming including winter and summer sessions with classes in athletics, arts, martial arts, and recreational activities. Signature programs include Judo classes for ages 4 and up, with a legacy of producing local, regional, national, and international champions taught with a modern twist on the classic Japanese Olympic sport. Windy City Fencing operates out of the facility, offering beginning recreational classes as well as competitive teams for ages 7 and up, preparing fencers for national and international competition.
Special events include Giant Gym Night, a popular drop-off event where children enjoy dinner, gym games, exciting activities, and raffle prizes in a supervised, fun environment. The club’s newly renovated two-lane bowling alley at the Clubhouse location provides perfect family entertainment and group events, ideal for Chicago’s cold months.
Summer camp programs offer full-day structured activities combining sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and skill development. Winter programs feature classes in various disciplines allowing children to explore interests and develop new abilities. Membership options provide access to facilities and programs. The club also offers room rentals at the Drucker Center for private events.
Financial assistance is available to ensure programs remain accessible to all families. The organization is supported by community partners, program sponsorships, an annual fund, and special fundraising events. With a mission focused on youth development, Menomonee Club creates a safe, engaging environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive while building character, confidence, and lifelong skills.
