Morgan Park Sports Center

Morgan Park Sports Center is a multi-sport facility operated by the Chicago Park District and managed by Legends Global, serving the Morgan Park neighborhood and surrounding communities on Chicago’s South Side. This comprehensive sports center offers year-round programming across multiple disciplines for all ages and skill levels.

The facility features an ice rink hosting extensive hockey and ice skating programs. Hockey offerings include Jr. Frogs Intro to Hockey/ADM programs for beginners, competitive programs through the Chicago Horned Frogs organization, adult hockey leagues through OSHL, rat hockey sessions, stick and puck practice times, and summer 4v4 leagues for U16/U18 players. Ice skating programs provide learn-to-skate classes for all ages, public skating sessions, freestyle ice time, private lessons, and synchronized skating through the Chicago Red Line Synchro program. The center hosts winter exhibitions and spring ice shows showcasing student progress.

A full gymnastics facility offers recreational classes with detailed progressions for different age groups and skill levels, competitive team programs, open gym sessions for practice and play, and private lessons. Classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence.

Wellness programming includes adult yoga and fitness memberships with various class types, yoga and movement classes for children and preteens, martial arts instruction, and tai chi classes. A regular membership schedule ensures consistent class offerings.

The creative arts department provides dance classes in multiple styles with opportunities to perform in recitals, arts and crafts programming, and seasonal camp offerings. All programs are led by experienced instructors specializing in their disciplines.

The facility offers party and event rental options for private celebrations, field trip programs for schools and groups, and various amenities including locker rooms, spectator areas, and parking. LiveBarn camera systems allow families to watch and record sessions. Registration for programs is handled through the Chicago Park District website.
