The Paintbrush

The Paintbrush is a hands-on art studio inspiring young artists since 2005, celebrating over 20 years of creativity and color in Chicago. The studio nurtures imagination and skills through immersive art camps and classes designed for children and adults who want to explore their artistic potential.

The Paintbrush offers comprehensive year-round programming including art classes covering drawing, painting, cartooning, and various media, toddler programs for early art exploration, after-school programs, drop-off classes, and seasonal workshops. Adult programming is also available for grown-ups wanting to rediscover their creative side.

Summer art camps run throughout the summer for ages 4-10, Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. These week-long camps provide full-day immersive art experiences with brand new projects designed each season. The studio also offers winter and spring sessions with multiple class options.

Birthday parties are a specialty, with kids’ birthday parties including a 1-hour guided art class plus 30 minutes for cake and snacks, all materials included, and birthday balloons provided. Adult art parties are also available, BYOB-friendly, perfect for birthdays, friends’ nights, or team bonding events.

Located in Lincoln Park on Clark Street, The Paintbrush has built a strong community reputation over two decades. The studio welcomes group workshops, private classes, and custom camp sessions for schools, homeschool groups, and organizations. The welcoming, colorful environment encourages creativity and self-expression for all ages.
