Profile
Chicago Loves Dance provides creative dance entertainment and education for children throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Founded by Cindy Leske, who has more than 15 years of technical dance experience and has performed at Carnegie Hall, the organization offers fun, dynamic dance instruction that captivates children of all ages.
Programs include classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, breakdance, cheerleading, gymnastics, youth yoga, musical theatre dance, and mom-daughter yoga for children starting at 18 months and up. The organization specializes in bringing dance directly to convenient community locations including park districts, schools, coffee shops, playrooms, and fitness centers throughout the Chicago area.
Chicago Loves Dance operates programs at multiple locations including Sweet Buddha in Glencoe, BRU Chicago Coffee Shop in Wicker Park, Purple Monkey Playroom in Bucktown/Logan Square, and various park districts including Wilmette, Wheeling, Glencoe, Winnetka, and Kenilworth. After-school enrichment programs and summer camp sessions are available, eliminating the need for parents to transport children across the city.
Additional services include birthday party entertainment with customizable themes (costumes, pajama parties, 50’s sock hop, Michael Jackson, sports teams, princess parties, rock star, cheerleading, High School Musical), Girl Scout badge programs, private lessons, summer day camp instruction, and performance services. Dance instructors come directly to party locations and lead interactive dances, choreography, freestyle circles, and party games. The organization’s mission is to provide accessible, affordable dance education that helps children develop technical skills while having fun and building confidence.
