iD Tech is the nation’s original and most trusted youth STEM educator, providing summer tech camps and year-round online programs for kids and teens ages 7-19. Founded over two decades ago, iD Tech has served millions of students through innovative technology education programs held at over 75 prestigious university campuses across the United States and through comprehensive online offerings.
iD Tech offers multiple program formats to serve diverse learning needs: week-long Summer Camps for ages 7-17 held on university campuses; two-week Teen Academies for ages 13-18 providing immersive college-prep experiences; and year-round Online Private Lessons for ages 7-19 offering personalized one-on-one instruction in 50+ topics. All programs are led by inspirational, relatable, world-class instructors from universities like Stanford, MIT, and NYU.
The curriculum covers extensive technology topics organized into four main areas: Coding (including Python, Java, C++, web development, app development); Game Development (Unreal Engine, Unity, Roblox, Minecraft modding); Robotics (BattleBots, VEX Robotics, 3D printing); and Creative Arts (digital art, animation, video production, photography). Popular course offerings include Roblox development, Minecraft modding, artificial intelligence and machine learning, virtual reality creation, mobile app design, and specialized BattleBots programs where students design and build take-home robots.
iD Tech partners with leading technology companies and institutions including NVIDIA for AI/machine learning courses, MIT for app development powered by MIT RAISE, and BattleBots for robotics programming. Exclusive curriculum and industry partnerships ensure students receive cutting-edge, relevant STEM education.
For summer 2026, iD Tech operates programs at major university campuses across the country including Stanford, MIT, Princeton, Columbia, UCLA, Carnegie Mellon, and many others in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (including Benedictine University, Lake Forest College, Loyola University, and Northwestern University), Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
Programs are designed to be age-appropriate and skill-level appropriate, with courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Summer camps feature small class sizes to ensure personalized attention, hands-on learning with industry-standard tools and software, and a focus on both technical skills and essential life skills like problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
