Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois is a premier 300-acre amusement park and entertainment destination featuring 17 world-class roller coasters, thrilling rides, family attractions, live entertainment, and Hurricane Harbor Chicago, a 20-acre Caribbean-themed water park. The park’s impressive coaster collection includes record-breaking rides like Maxx Force (0-78 mph in under 2 seconds), Goliath (wooden coaster with near-vertical drop), X Flight (wing coaster), BATMAN: The Ride, Raging Bull, SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight, Vertical Velocity, and The Joker. Hurricane Harbor features Tsunami Surge, the world’s tallest water coaster at 86 feet, reaching speeds of 28 mph through 950 feet of enclosed tunnels and open slides with five drops and five hairpin turns.
