Decoma Day Camp

Founded in 1949, Decoma Day Camp has been providing an exceptional summer camp experience for over 75 years in Northbrook, Illinois. The camp operates on a beautiful facility featuring well-maintained fields, creating an ideal environment for children to have fun, make friends, learn new skills, and stay active all summer long.

Decoma offers multiple program options including a Shortened Day program, Full Day program running from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program specifically designed for rising 8th graders. The camp provides a comprehensive range of activities that ensure every day is filled with excitement and learning opportunities.

Activities include archery, arts and crafts, baseball, basketball, bucket drumming, bungee trampoline, cheerleading/poms, circus arts, climbing wall, cooking, dancing, drama, fencing, field hockey, fishing, football, gaga, gymnastics, inflatables, nature activities, ninja warrior course, martial arts, mini golf, mountain biking, music and singing, soccer, softball, swimming (twice daily), t-ball, team building, tennis, tetherball, theme days, trampball, volleyball, and yoga.

Special features include swim lessons, team sports, adventure courses and climbing walls, boat regattas, and specialized activities. Hot lunch and cookouts are included in the tuition, eliminating the need for campers to bring their own food. The camp emphasizes making children happy while helping them develop teamwork, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships.

Decoma maintains a dedicated summer phone line and office hours throughout the year. The camp offers a summer calendar, camp store, photo gallery access, talent show opportunities, and Decoma TV content for families.
