Keshet is a national leader in disability inclusion, providing comprehensive programs in education, recreation, adult services, and residential care for people with disabilities. Their camp programs are extensive, offering both day and overnight camp experiences with personalized support.
Winter Day Camp provides field trips, sports, games, art, and movies for kids and teens ages 5-21. Winter Overnight Camp offers a cozy retreat with arts & crafts, gym activities, music, and snow time for 7th grade through 21 years.
Summer offerings include Keshet Day Camps (Camp Keshet North for ages 5-13, Camp Keshet South for ages 14-21, and Keshet-On-the-Go for ages 14-21), JCC Chicago Apachi Day Camps with inclusion support for Pre-K through 7th grade, and Keshet Overnight Camps (Gesher sessions) for ages 13-21. The Keshet Avodah program provides vocational skill-building for ages 16-21 at Camp Chi. Additional camps include KEYS (Keshet Extend Your Summer) and Keshet Center Stage performing arts camp.
All programs feature individualized accommodations, behavioral supports, and one-on-one care with experienced staff including social workers, special education teachers, therapists, and recreation professionals. Keshet partners with JCC Chicago camps and other outstanding organizations committed to inclusion, offering 18+ day and overnight camp locations throughout the Midwest. Need-based financial assistance is available, and the organization is recognized by the National Inclusion Project as a leader in inclusive recreation.
