Noggin Builders

Noggin Builders is the premier STEM education destination for curious kids in the Northbrook area, offering hands-on learning experiences that build creative problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and foundational STEM knowledge. The center specializes in making science, technology, engineering, and mathematics engaging and accessible through age-appropriate activities and expert instruction. Programs are designed to keep young minds actively engaged both during the school year and when school is out.

Weekly STEM classes serve students in grades K-3rd, providing consistent exposure to engineering concepts, scientific inquiry, and technological exploration in a fun, interactive environment. The center offers specialized One Day Camps during school breaks including Thanksgiving, Winter Break, and other days off from school, ensuring curious kids stay engaged and learning even when classes aren’t in session. Summer Camps provide STEM variety for campers entering grades K-3rd, while Engineering Boot Camp serves students in grades 4th-6th with more advanced, intensive instruction.

STEM Teams at Noggin Builders are structured programs where children build creative problem-solving skills, collaboration, and STEM competencies while having fun and forming friendships. For a limited time, the center is also hosting birthday parties, offering families a unique way to celebrate with hands-on STEM activities. The Noggin Builders Foundation, their 501(c)(3) non-profit arm, provides free STEM programs to children in low-income areas with a goal of providing 18,000 free STEM activity experiences annually. This commitment to closing the opportunity gap demonstrates their dedication to making quality STEM education accessible to all children regardless of background.
