The Stage School provides acting, singing, and dancing classes for children ages 4-16 in Park Ridge, Illinois. Located at 100 South Western Avenue, the school offers part-time training in the performing arts through fun and engaging activities that help kids succeed both on and off the stage. Operating in proud partnership with the Park Ridge Park District, The Stage School is committed to developing each child’s full potential through drama, dance, and singing.
The Premier Program serves ages 4-6, where children participate in a variety of fun activities in a safe, positive learning environment. Instructors help students develop the core fundamentals of acting, singing, and dance through age-appropriate curriculum. The Company program for ages 6-16 allows students to learn self-expression, enhance social skills, and grow more confident through comprehensive dance classes, acting classes, and singing classes.
After School Classes for ages 5-12 teach the fundamentals of drama through engaging games, scene work, improvisation, and imaginative play. Summer camps for ages 4-16 provide exciting weeks of drama, singing, and dance that culminate in performances shared with families and friends. The school also offers birthday party packages with fun themes including Hamilton, Harry Potter, Princess Party, and Superheroes.
The Stage School’s professional staff of actors, musicians, and choreographers create the most fun training environment in Park Ridge. Students develop essential life skills including responsibility, teamwork, integrity, respect, confidence, poise, and discipline. Studies show that kids who attend musical theater classes have increased confidence and essential skills that benefit them throughout life. Performance opportunities are provided at the end of each term, allowing students to showcase their learning for family and friends.
