Profile
Cyclones Volleyball Club is a competitive youth volleyball organization located in the western suburbs of Chicago, dedicated to helping young female athletes develop volleyball skills, confidence, and character. The club provides comprehensive training for players from beginner to advanced levels, with teams competing at various age groups from juniors through 18U.
The philosophy emphasizes player improvement and long-term development over short-term gains, with practices designed using backward-design methodology that stresses technique development through quality repetition. The coaching staff is led by Head Coach Tolis Koskinaris, who also serves as Head Coach for the College of DuPage’s National Champion Women’s Volleyball Team and the newly formed Men’s Volleyball team.
The club offers year-round programming including club teams and clinics throughout the summer and school year. Practices incorporate uniform training across all groups, starting with fundamental technique mastery and progressing to game-like scenarios as the season advances. The club competes in aggressive tournament exposure including GLPL, Spring Classic, and President’s Day tournaments.
The Cyclones maintain a family atmosphere with caring, compassionate staff who understand that volleyball does not come before family, faith, and academics. Coaches are required to take training courses in the off-season to stay current. The club prides itself on providing competitive cost structure with unmatched value to parents and players.
The mission focuses on creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where young women can learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance while forming lifelong friendships and developing into confident, athletic individuals ready to take on the world.
