Profile
BAMtheatre is a nationally recognized and award-winning educational theatre organization founded in 2001 to create opportunities for young performers of all skill levels to receive professional musical theatre training and education, from preschool through college. The organization serves over 2,500 actors annually at their state-of-the-art facility in Westmont, Illinois.
The theatre offers extensive summer camp programs featuring both Broadway Bound Camps and Showstopper Camps with various themes including Annie KIDS, Queens of the Castle, KPop Demon Hunters, Shrek KIDS, Mary Poppins Jr., and more. Each camp culminates in an exciting production or showcase where campers can demonstrate their hard work and creativity. Most camps run for one week with morning sessions from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and afternoon sessions from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
BAMtheatre’s mission is to empower young artists through theatre education by cultivating upstanding, creative, and inspired individuals who work to make the world a better place. The organization emphasizes four core pillars: inclusion, education, community, and innovation. The facility features a stunning 191-seat auditorium, professional-grade dance studio, private lesson studios, and spacious rehearsal rooms. BAMtheatre also offers year-round conservatory programs, after-school enrichment programs, and produces shows throughout the year for the community to enjoy.
