Steve & Kate’s Camp – Lincoln Park

Steve & Kate’s Camp – Lincoln Park is a summer day camp located at LaSalle Language Academy in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, providing a self-directed camp experience for children ages 4 through 15. This location is one of Steve & Kate’s Chicago-area flagship sites and offers the brand’s full complement of activities and programs, including a Mentorship Program for older teens.

Campers choose their own activities minute by minute throughout each day, with options spanning a Media Lab for digital creation including stop-motion animation and coding, a Sewing Salon, a Bakery for hands-on culinary projects, and extensive sports and recreation programming including water games. Weekly special events bring in unique experiences such as inflatable slip-and-slides, kid-safe go-kart racing with provided helmets, dance workshops, and other rotating attractions that keep every week of summer feeling new and exciting.

The Lincoln Park location also hosts the Steve & Kate’s Mentorship Program, designed exclusively for teens ages 14-15. Mentees work alongside camp staff to facilitate activities and build leadership skills within the framework of Steve & Kate’s self-directed learning philosophy. Mentorship passes are available as Day Passes or a Summer Pass at rates that differ from standard camper pricing. The camp operates on the flexible Day Pass system where families can purchase passes and use them any day without reservation. All fees cover lunch, snacks, and the full day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with automatic refunds for unused passes. The summer session typically runs from early June through early August. Bright Horizons Back-Up Care benefits are accepted, and financial aid is available.
