Board & Brush Creative Studio – Naperville

Board & Brush Creative Studio – Naperville offers hands-on, instructor-led DIY wood sign and craft workshops for children, teens, and adults at 790 Royal Saint George Drive, Suite 145, in Naperville, Illinois. Conveniently situated near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive with ample off-street plaza parking, the Naperville studio serves families across Naperville, Lisle, Warrenville, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, and Wheaton. Inside, the spacious workshop environment features large farmhouse worktables, aprons, woodworking tools, and an extensive sample gallery of custom painted signs, wooden trays, growth charts, and seasonal home decor.

Youth and family programming at Board & Brush Naperville welcomes young makers ages 6 and older to participate in Family Friendly workshops, Mini Project classes, and specialized Kids’ and Teens’ events. Under the encouraging guidance of studio instructors, young participants experience the satisfaction of building and finishing a real wood project from scratch. Children learn how to sand raw pine boards smooth, experiment with distressing tools to add rustic texture, apply non-toxic wood stains, secure custom-cut vinyl stencils, and sponge on colorful acrylic paints before peeling back the stencil to reveal their finished design. The stencil-based process ensures that every child—whether an enthusiastic young artist or a hesitant beginner—leaves with a neat, display-ready piece for their bedroom, locker, or playroom.

Families frequently reserve the Naperville studio for Kids’ Birthday Parties, tween and teen celebrations, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troop outings, and youth athletic team-building events. Before the party, each invited child chooses their own project design from a curated online catalog of youth templates featuring sports emblems, animals, monograms, musical instruments, and positive phrases. The studio team prepares every board, personalized stencil, and paint cup prior to arrival, leads the group step-by-step through each crafting stage, and takes care of all the sawdust and paint cleanup afterward so parents can relax and enjoy the celebration.

Beyond in-studio sessions, Board & Brush Naperville provides Virtual Workshops, take-home DIY @Home Kits complete with all materials and instructions for rainy days or sleepovers, and Bb Brought to You offsite event packages for school family nights, park district programs, and community organizations. The studio’s approachable instructors and customizable project gallery make it a versatile creative destination for DuPage and Will County families. Every workstation is stocked with child-safe water-based acrylic paints, foam brushes, aprons, and sanding sponges, and instructors remain close by to assist younger participants with stencil alignment and detail work. Caregivers appreciate that each workshop blends tactile woodworking skills with artistic design, giving children a tangible sense of accomplishment and a personalized piece of decor that lasts.
