Profile
Hyper Kidz in Wheaton is a 27,000-square-foot, outer-space-themed indoor playground located at 286 East Geneva Road in Wheaton’s Main Street Plaza, serving families across DuPage County and the western Chicago suburbs. Designed for children ages 0 to 13, the climate-controlled facility focuses entirely on active physical, sensory, and social playโdeliberately omitting arcade games, token machines, and video screens so kids can climb, slide, build, and interact face-to-face. Walk-in open play is available daily with no stay duration limits, and admission always includes free entry for up to two parents or caregivers per family as well as free admission for infants under 12 months accompanying a paid sibling, plus military discounts on general admission and party packages.
Inside the space-themed arena, three developmentally tailored Play Zones separate babies, toddlers, and older elementary or middle school kids so every age group can explore safely. The Mini Zone is an enclosed, padded area for infants and toddlers ages 0 to 2 featuring ocean- and space-inspired low-to-the-ground soft play structures with zero sharp edges to support early crawling, balance, and sensory discovery. The Kid Zone serves children ages 2 to 7 with a two-story Balloon House, gentle motorized revolving soft rides, spinning palms, a ball pit, a building-block room, an LED air slide, and a giant light-up wall. The Big Kid Zoneโbuilt for kids ages 3 to 13 or 4 feet and tallerโfeatures a massive four-story play pavilion with colorful spiral, wave, and tube slides, foam ball blasters, climbing ramps, and over twenty obstacle challenges, plus an interactive LED dance floor and giant pin-impression screens.
For celebrations, Hyper Kidz Wheaton offers four private birthday party rooms and five customizable packagesโSuper (up to 10 kids), Mega (up to 15 kids), Colossal (up to 20 kids), Royal (up to 25 kids with extended private room access), and Private Party facility buyouts (up to 30 kids and 60 adults). Party packages bundle open play, a custom bubble or laser dance party on the LED floor, pizza and drinks, paper supplies, invitations, a complimentary future play pass for the guest of honor, and a dedicated Party Host who manages setup, serving, and cleanup. Weekday field trip rates for camps and schools of 10 or more and school spirit fundraising nights that donate a portion of proceeds back to partner organizations are also available.
Every piece of anchored soft-play equipment is sanitized and inspected daily. Socks are required for all children and adults in the play areas (guests may wear their own socks or purchase socks at the front desk), and cash is not accepted. Parents must stay on-site to supervise their children, with ample perimeter seating, lockers, free Wi-Fi, and a nut-free snack bar offering snacks, drinks, and Dippin’ Dots.
