Hot Shots Sports is Illinois’ premier youth sports educator, providing beginner and competitive youth sports development programs for children throughout Chicago, North Illinois, and Central Illinois. With operations at over 100 locations, Hot Shots offers comprehensive sports education with a focus on skill development, fun, and building confidence.
The organization offers an extensive range of sports programs including archery, baseball, basketball, dodgeball, field hockey, fitness, floor hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, multi-sports, Nerf, pickleball, soccer, softball, tennis, tumbling, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball. Programs are designed to accommodate children ages 6 and under through high school, with specialized programming for different age groups.
Hot Shots provides multiple program formats to serve families’ diverse needs: year-round classes at parks, schools, and community facilities; school year sports camps during breaks and holidays; comprehensive summer sports camps; competitive travel teams including the Storm Travel Basketball program for girls 4th-7th grade; birthday parties; organized leagues; enrichment classes; private lessons; gym classes; coaching clinics and counselor university programs; recess supervision services; tournaments; tryout and evaluation supervision; and special events.
The organization partners with numerous park districts, private facilities, and schools across the Chicago area and Illinois to deliver accessible programming throughout the region. Classes and camps emphasize interactive, development-focused activities that make sports fun while building fundamental athletic skills. All programs are led by experienced coaches who are trained in youth sports instruction and child development.
Hot Shots’ philosophy centers on creating positive sports experiences where children can develop athletically while building self-esteem, learning teamwork, and gaining confidence. The organization is sponsored by Wilson and maintains an active presence on social media, regularly sharing instructional content, gym class videos, and tutorials on their YouTube channel.
Registration is available online through the Hot Shots website, where families can search for programs by sport type, program format (class, camp, league, etc.), age, and location. The organization maintains a customer service center to assist with inquiries, registrations, and support, plus offers specialized inquiry forms for private lessons and birthday parties.
